Hey guys,

Below is  the test model for my new Brettonian army. I'm aiming to finish them for the ETC next year, but we'll see... I'm gonna go for a really basic palette, focusing solely on Black and White as the main colours, with some red/gold detailing. I really don't want the army to look like the usual style Brettonian Clown car army painting style which always bugs me, as it makes them lack any cohesion.

Still need to do the freehand details on the Horse but frankly, "I'm scared, Mummy"   :wink;m::

I love the cold white and black, and its actually really nice and easy to paint.

Cheers
James
There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!

Really nice model mate, looks great. Black and White work really well - though I'm thinking of doing a "clown car" style army at some point with the Brettonnians!

Excellent start Mr Vettori...

Really looking forward to seeing how you get on with the brets, one of my favourite armies but always been a bit daunted by the painting prospects myself really.

Liking the skin tone on the horsey in particular!
In the style of Tom Hale... F*ck Ushabti!!!

Lovely Work Mr Vettori, really nice scheme, lets see the free hand then, dont be scared...

I will. Just need to spend some time practising on paper first.

Guess I'll leave NMM attempts to the next army. One new technique per army is wise, I'm thinking.

Hey all,

Does anyone have a copy of White Dwarf 291. It has a Masterclass on painting Leon Louncouer with some freehand ideas for Bretts.

If I could borrow it for a read it would be appreciated.

Cheers
