There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!

Update!!! Okay so I have (finally) completed a Pegasus Knight. One step at a time, I guess...

I need some thoughts about the white, I'm not sure if its a bit too blue or not. What do you guys think??

The blue tint looks good in the piccy and it promises to be a cracking army at this rate.

Boo at Deathwing. Boo!

I like it as well. If I was being critical, my only comment would be that on the Rider and the mount the icy blue / white is a llittle overwhelming and confusing for the eye. Like I said though, that's being tough.

I know what you mean, I'm a little concerned about that myself. Unfortunately its very tricky to control the balance of Black and White when the Pegasus is White as well.

The Black has only very understated highlighting since the White draws attention away from it anyway, which means that if I start doing largish areas in Black the details get lost. You can already see that to some extent with the riders Helmet.

Its not really an issue with Horse mounted knights since the Horses will be standard colours, but I believe Pegs should always be a Pure White, so I'll see what I can achieve with the other two Peg Knights... Maybe a little bit more red into the mix?

Does look very blue mate, are you trying to get it really white??

But don't get me wrong, looks ace...

I think your main option is to consider changing the rider's contrast colour. Justify it as an Elite thing and you could always do it on the Grail Knights too if you want. Use red or something like you say, as its easy to paint and contrasts very well with both black and white. The massive quantities of white on the Pegasus will still tie them into the rest of your units. Working the Pegasus up as a more greyish white would look rather strange I think.

In the summer of 2011 he moved North... spreading the word of House OG.

I am Mike of House OG.  Ogger in the North.  And Ginger is coming.

Nothing much exciting, but I've decided that trying to mix up the White and Black in a half/half sylte just meant the White was drowning everything else out ala my Peg Knight first attempt So I've decided to go for a more Black Templars style Black/White split with the Black dominant and the White in smaller amounts like my general (Great thing to learn when you've already undercoated everything white... :endit:).

I think thats gonna look a ton better and be less offensive to the eye. Also makes everything easier to paint as I can leave the black to last

P.S. There will be more pics at some point, but that would require less drinking and more painting... and with the Waitangi Day Pub crawl this weekend, not a chance  :))
