:)) When the Emperor first started galvanising the forces of man, and building his legions of super-human warriors to reclaim the stars, he thought long and hard about design aesthetics when it came to their weapons of war.... long and hard...

When asked by the High Magos of Mars whether he wanted them to look beautiful as well as being militarily functional, it is recorded that his response was, after a long pause...., "nah, bollox to it!"

Marines can't even spell pretty let alone understand exactly what it means. I think they all look pretty nifty kits (I'm sure Ol is licking his lips over the robot boomerang), and I'll be taking two of the SM gunships please mate. You've got my stash from the held-over web order, and I'll scrape some coinage together to get a second one. If the rules are as they've been rumoured, I'm thinking the Vanguard Vets might be landing on my painting table very shortly  :thumbsup:

I quite like the Stormtalon myself. It kinda reminds me of an angry little Bumblebee. Whether the rules are any good is the next question...

Ol - Hold fire on me getting the Talon(s), as there's a rumble that this will be only available to Codex: Space Marines, not the divergent Chapters. Apparently the WD will carry official codex update rules just for them. If so it makes me a sad panda  :bash;m:

Jimbo - rules are allegedly that you can attach it to a unit held in Deep Strike reserve. When the unit arrives, roll for scatter/placement as normal for the initial unit and then you can place the Talon anywhere within 6" of that unit. Supersonic and Aerial Assault special rules also seem likely.

I must admit I thought that too when I read it... but decided not to share it with the group!  :wink;m::

Does the stupid Orky way of spelling things wrongly annoy anyone else?
'Da Boyz' etc hardly makes it any more phonetic, it just sounds like it was written by a moron.
Bommer only has 1 letter changed, I don't know why they bothered - other than to iritate those with spelling OCD such as myself.

That's my rant for the day, enjoy.
