well my list is going to be grey hunter spam with some elite and long fangs

So long as half those hunter units are on foot, sounds fine to me

Which day do you want to play on?

SVA?

Ive Got a vaquisher turret for my guard (not excatly special) but I'm getting a relic contemptor Mortis dreadnought with twin assult cannons: looks so baddass! (also common for dark angels so fluffy too!) not trying any lucius pattern dropouts or Achilles land raider naughtyness!

SVA is the reading Spiky club's campaign weekend. We went last year (it was my first ever event in fact) and had a blast. Similar rules, comp etc to Vanquish this year in fact...

It is a shame that the vanquisher is only really viable with the co-axel heavy stubber. I took one (vengeance Prospero) to lead my tank company and it was really fun. Obviously the lucius is at the cheese end of the FW scale but if you've got the proper model and it looks pretty I've no problem with it at all. What about the assault ram thing?! Get one of them and your termies will have a right old rammy laugh! ;)

Ol, how about letting us use the non-cheese FW options so we can test them out? Fully Timmy'd by you of course and say limited to one per person? Obviously those without and actual model could proxy one in, so it's not unfair on those without the toys... Or maybe just for people that aren't breaking the comp... Twice...

Something I will look at for the next one, which will prob use Vanquish comp

Ah g'wan?

One choice each to test stuff can't hurt. And I'll bring all the imperial armour books down to the club on Monday and you can borrow them. Then people an have a read and pick something to try out. If you only let the fun ones in it can only add to the experience! It's a full proof plan I tells ya!

Fair enough then, if i can read the books..

How shall we phrase the comp for them then...

Perhaps phrase the comp with a simple "don't be a dick", as there's Hive Timmy-ing in place too

I'd say something along the lines of:

Each army may contain a single 40k Approved unit/vehicle from a Forge World IA rule book, if they wish. The player must provide an appropriate model (both size and armament) and all rules for said unit and have them available for their opponents. If they do not, said unit cannot be used during the game and will count as dead for KPs.

Note: due to certain Forge World created units being slightly overpowered with respect to their points value, the Timmy comp panel reserves the right to restrict certain units from being used on a army-to-army basis.

Not sure if you want to make sure people are using the correct models or not at this stage.
There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!
