Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me?

And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,
My independence seems to vanish in the haze.
But every now and then I feel so insecure,
I know that I just need you like I've never done before.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.

Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.

Yeah I need some help, and how can you possibly refuse after I sung so sweetly? I'm putting together the new Chaos Lord on Manticore kit. It comes with two separate heads (one for rider and one for no-rider) and two riders (Chaos Lord and Sorcerer Lord), wondering if anyone has any clever ideas of how I can assemble it and keep these parts interchangeable? Rather than me buying three separate kits! Was thinking of pinning the parts, but not actually gluing, however I don't know if that will work.

All (reasonable) suggestions greatfully received. I can provide photos of joins if this would help?

Magnets ftw, Matt. I hear Ol sells them too.

I have no photos, someone else probably does though, but its pretty simple to drill a hole in the two touching surfaces and glue a magnet into each side. Note though, that it pays to make the magnet deep enough to cover it with a bit of green stuff so the magnets aren't physically touching or they tend to attach too well and pull themselves out.
There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!

Cheers mate. Couple of questions for the novice magnet user!

What type of drill do you use to drill the holes (sorry not very DIY minded), I'm guessing my pin drill won't be sufficiently wide for the magnets?!

And is superglue good enough to hold the magnets in place (if I use the green stuff)?

the other thing is to ensure you get the poles of the magnets the right way round.

some pics of some saurus I've magnetised the arms on. these are using very tiny magnets though.

they're superglued in and are fine.
if you can get a pin drill big enough/magnets small enough it should be fine.

Cool, good point with the poles - that could be a disaster!

I've only got GW's pin drill, where abouts can you get bigger ones (or bigger drill bits)!

I just use a power drill, and find a drill bit to match the magnet size. I'm sure thats a bit crazy, but I haven't managed to screw anything up so far...

Super glue is fine.

When I put together the Manticore, I couldn't really see a smooth way of making the heads interchangeable, thanks in part to the belly-crest that goes on. Will want to see the results if you manage it!!

cunningmatt

I think the Hobbycraft option might be a little safer for me to try!!! Thanks for the advice.

Hmm, I've assembled the heads and done a dry fit and they seem to slide on off, the belly-crest being attached to the head rather than the torso. But I'm sure I'll find the flaw in my plan once I've drilled it to buggery!!
