Help me choose a new army

I reckon any colour scheme at all would be fine - I haven't seen the thread but I'm going to hazard a guess that those people on warseer are probably morons!

I've highlighted the key problem with that sentence. Seriously I think 4chan could give you more indepth discussion than the mindless bitching on Warseer

Warseer. It never ceases to amaze me what those chaps argue about. I like the lizardman suggestion, mainly as I've always wanted to do a crazy Dinosaur army. Still channeling my inner 5 year old :D

Heh, I know, Warseer indeed. It was one of those threads I thought would go "no.....no you dick" and end quickly, but it was a many many page discussion with half saying paint whatever you want the other saying no thats like painting pink orcs or green humans. This was when I was first getting back into the hobby and it stuck in my brain as "keep away from lizards, you'll make people craaazzzy!"

I'm very much liking the sound of a crazy dinosaur army. I think basing them would be an awesome joy. And the nasty slannesh stegadon conversion I was going to do for a friend can be stolen and used for me!

hmmm I wonder how doable a slaanesh themed lizardmen army would be.....

Brets, Lizards or TK I reckon.

All three hit most of your gaming requirements and all 3 offer decent paintschemes which can be nice and bright.

Yay I'd secretly pretty much decided lizards anyway and this has confirmed it!

Think I have a unit of Cold One Saurus somewhere. Old style cow Saurus, but nice models. I'll have a look next time I'm in the bitz box.

So true, I can see it now, people wouldn't be anle to cope!

Lizards are fun, you can really change the play style if you want to. It's very easy to build an army with tons of shooting, but also easy to make a list with very little.
Plus you can now have 2 slaans in 2400!

If your going to do the Lizards, try to avoid the cookie cutter builds.

Lizards are viewed as a top tier army - but they do have some really nice models.
