Thanks for the answer. So handler is basically an upgraded ward save (as you can stack it with regen). I just need option to buy handlers for my Lord!

If it's for a hydra (I'm guessing because of the regen bit) you might have to check the army book and FAQ as I think the hydra is always hit. If it's not for a hydra it's fine!!!

A bit sad looking at using DEs but no hydra due to being unable to get my beasts finished, as i really want to use them but nowhere near painted.  Also i want to try out them in a 8th ed idea.

You dont need to have them all painted mate, so no excuse not to take the Beasts
