In the first of what will be an irregular series of interviews and other articles, the Wargame Tournaments website is pleased to announce a quick interview with Steve Wren, organiser of the Warhammer Achievements tournament taking place in Mansfield, England, later this year.

You can access the article from the homepage of the website or directly from this link

Corrected for orginal creators of the Bingo (plus it was sponsored by us as well)  :cool3:

I'll try and remember to mention that to Steve when I do the follow-up interview.

For all of us, check your junk folder, its whay happems with most forum skins now adays, especially after each new update...

There's nothing in my junk folder. It's only here and the Garagehammer forum I seem to have problems.

Warseer on the other hand seems to delight in treating any visit to the site as an excuse to send you and update, even if you haven't viewed subscribed threads you've already been sent notifications about...

I think you need to look at the updates in your preferences, as a default we turned it off as 99% of people hate getting tons of emails about posts...

My settings for notifications are:

  • Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic. - Yes
  • For topics and boards I've requested notification on, notify me - Instantly, but only for the first unread reply

For the second, I've picked the option that appears to describe how I want to be notified - i.e. I want to be notifed of the first reply since my last visit to the thread and not again until I've visited and read all new posts to the thread.

The only other possible option would be Instantly, but the given the existence of the "Instantly, but only...." option, I assumed that the plain Instantly means I'd be notified every time a thread was replied to.
