Being the new bod, and always liking a bit of painting, just got a couple of q's.

Are the pics needed to show WIP or for the final submissions, or is it all brought down on the club night? Is it also just model or model and base (had some weird caveats in some of the painting comps I had a go at in the States  :nutzo:)?

If I can get my act together, I'll try and throw in a Death Korp of Krieg Guardsman - need to get those started and it'll give me an excuse to sort out a colour scheme.

WIP are always good, stick them in a thread in Da Gallery but you just need finished model for submission.

It is voted for on here so that is up to the person submitting the model. There is nothing to stop one submitting a model that is just undercoated, we just trust that no-one would vote for it.

I might. I am colour blind after all, so just spray it red and tell me its red and green with some orangy brown bits and to me it'll look like the best painted model in the world!  #-)

To re-iterate Ritchie's comment, WIPs aren't required, though if you fancied starting up a blog of progress, there's no harm.

The entries can be basically whatever you fancy doing (that's 40k related), and the entries may be split into seperate categories for voting depending on the number of entrants.

Hmm, pretty much the same as when the contested started sadly...

Paint is the gooey stuff in the coloured pots, yes? That you push around with the hairy sticks?
