New Tale of OG Gamers for WFB 8th Edition

With 8th edition just kicking in full swing, and the new meta of massive armies and fun times, we are kicking off a new WFB Tale of OG painters to help us all get awesome painted armies on the table down at the club.

We're looking at running this for 10 months, at 200 points per month so at the end of the tale we will all have armies of 2000 points fully painted.

This thread is for any discussion or questions about the tale and for people to sign up. We're looking at formally starting this starting from September 1st so this thread will be open for two weeks. To sign up please post up your army that you are going to be using for the duration of the challenge. I'll keep this post updated with any amendments, as well as a list of those taking part and what filth they'll be using!

This is the current structure we are looking at:

- 200 points painted each month

- Armies to be "legal" at the 600, 1200 and 2000 point stages (This basically allows us to start playing little games with our painted stuff at the club during the tale as a way of keeping us motivated and developing our lists... legal basically means as per restrictions in the 8th ed rulebook)

- There will be one thread each month for posting up finished entries. All members are encouraged to start up their own project logs and post tons of WIPs up in there (For logs related to the Tale add "Tale of OG Gamers" to the front of the topic name)!

- First submissions due by Tuesday 30th September


Please let me know what you think of the format and whether you are interested in signing up. I think that this will be an awesome way to keep all of our painting on track and it will also allow for a showcase of all of our cool work on the site.

Hmm, am considering this, even though have almost all of my army bought and built already. It is the painting I struggle with.
Tho I guess I only need the missis away a few nights to get 200 pts painted...

........skaven....... Swapping a set with a mate, and I don't want two elf armies and he has mass goblins already. Hopefully getting a third set of rats from Ol too. That and they are filth in 8th
