The Trampoline

OG Trek and wear the classic star trek shirts. The players who lose a lot and get their armies butchered should wear the red tops in the spirit of the show. You could change the comms badge from the starfleet insignia to a fancy OG symbol.

Oh and very off topic, but how the hell was Davies not sent off?! If I'd done that in a game I'd be charged with assult!

Update 7!
I've got an important announcement too...

So, after today and yesterday's rallying round matt's latest announcement (really, congrats on that mate, can't imagine it was easy to tell parents and probably equally tricky thinking how to phrase it to the OG world as well. Although, if you think about it, us wargamers are probably in quite an understanding position. Most of us have kept our plastic crack addiction form someone and then having to explain that you're skint and can't do something important because you spent all your money on little plastic toys is quite difficult too. Not in the same league of course, but with a degree of empathy you can sort of imagine the inner turmoil.)...

I've got an important announcement too.

Honestly, this really isn't that I'm despirately seeking any form of attention or anything...

Unfortunately for the burgeoning gay scene at the club (just wait, Ol will have Right Said Fred on the iPod soon), it's not that.

If you want to borrow it Ol I've got their greatest hits on iTunes

It is in fact that I've been shopping and buying important stuff for this mental project of mine.

By important stuff as you shall see from the following images, very little is actually related to my high elf army.

Purchase number 1.

Sorry.
I'm City 'till I die and may be found singing the odd chorus of Old Faithful every now and then now the super league has kicked off and I don't have a misses demanding I spend my precious weekends with her rather than in the sensible pursuit of watching grown men roll around in the mud. Err, yes, quite.

Purchase number 2....3, 4 5 and 6.

So after a very kind intro from Jack, and ages lamenting the shortcomings of warhammer I've given in and popped my Hordes cherry.

Actually quite liked it.
Am certainly used to keeping track of multiple wounds and spell effects from the Ogres, so that's nothing new, and it seemed like a crazy and quirkey game.
I've gone for Circle (for those who don't know the system) Really like the less cartoony look of them, just waiting some cards, counters and a Gorox (think big ugly gorilla) and then can have a think about how to get to what seems like the standart 35 point game level.

As some of the more astute of you may have noticed there is infact 1 purchase visible that IS for my high elf army.

That of a roll of cork.
Roll on (pun intented) the bases and it'll be magma galore!
I do however need a bit of advice on how to stick it. Do I use PVA or some other weird and wonderful glue? Answers please (looking at you lee as the resident cork expert)

On the way through the miracle of the post are also a ton of seaguard, the plastic IoB mage and the bits to make 5 more high elf noble riders (really, 12 just isn't enough, people might not get the theme!)
I'm also waiting to pick up 2 boxes of dragon princes from Mr Ol next time I can make the club, and then, on with the show it will be!

maelzch

to stick cork to the bases, I tend to use superglue, as I'm impatient and want to get painting straight away!

Well, have bought 3 lots of the IoB ones off a bits site.
so taking out the 2 lots of spare command this leaves 24, which is a slight problem as I need 27. Will have to think of something, maybe a bolt thrower as a unit filler...

Undead Dan

Standard bearer should easily be coverted, and you can do stuff to the musician easily enough- mine is pointing. He's very rude.

Yeah As Dan says the Standard Bearers are no different to the normal models (the spears are separate for all of them, and he just has a banner rather than a spear).

Cool I think I need to up to a similar kind of size.

Oh and by the way Right Said Fred!! I've f**king come out not plunged into a time warp back into 1989. Pleeeasssee!!  :wink;m::
