Squadron 40! Diiiiiivvvvveeee!!!!

So, as I'm sure you all know I have a teensy habit of becoming obsessed with things....
My latest craze is of course the 1980s Flash Gordon movie. Really for no other reason than the sound track is possibly the best recording of anything ever.

So to honour my latest obsession it's time for another themed army!

I had tried to think of how I could do this as a fantasy army but it really wasn't working, so 40k it is. Plus with the new edition literally round the corner, what better time!

So I want to do an army with lots and lots of hawkmen.
Have had a thought about models, current idea is marauders of chaos with wings from somewhere.

Next it's on to choice of army.
Now the only 40k army I know who have jump troops as troops is blood angels. Handy as this is about the only 40k army I know anything about!

So there's the plan.

Lots of hawkmen, Prince Vultan and flash on a rocket cycle. Plus maybe war rocket Ajax as a storm raven.

Check out the dark eldar scourge wings buddy. Some nice feathered wings for you there and they look suitable 40k....

Ohh and btw... Epic idea!!!! Can't wait to see it on the table buddy!
