I could but then he's only going to be in 1 place and I'm likely to have multiple combats at very different parts of the battlefield, hence the thought of just dropping him for a mage, at least with something like metal I can still potentially influence all those combats.

Fair point,  but just remember every time you fail that critical break test you really should have passed, I'll be giving you a sarcastic 'I told you so' look!  :wink;m::

More like that panic test on turn 1 when 5 silver helms get pasted by a doom diver...

Curious though, I'd have thought that with little way to remove steadfast you'd wanna hit one unit with everything at once and nuke the crap out of it?
There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!

Plan was actually with such a maneuverable army to get around and take off the smaller stuff while holding up the big things with the dragon. He should do enough to win combats and if I put him into the right combats it shouldn't be against stuff that can hurt him.

That actually sounds like Tictacs, are they allowed?  I thought everyone just had to push it forwards and roll dice.

Update 6!

Thank you for your patience, normal service will resume shortly... In the meantime please enjoy our feature presentation, Reservoir (d)Ogs!

Hello, hello, hello and welcome to what is clearly a very long overdue update on this rather shabby looking blog.

Firstly I would like to apologise for my apparent departure from the world of the interwebs.
Maybe I should explain.
I used to live in a cosy house in Clapham with ultra-fast broad band, I am currently residing in a spare room at my uncle's house. My uncle is very nice, but is also quite old and as such does not own a computer. Due to this rather alarming computer shortage he therefore has no use for the internet. So I am reduced to using a rather battered looking USB dongle with its very sloooow internet connection.
This is ok, as I can still make updates, post etc, however it does take a little bit of time to warm up!

Anyway, ramblings and excuses about my life aside what have I been up to I hear you all not asking.

Well, I have recently been exposed to a new game. Warmachine, or is it Hordes? Or is it Warmahordes? Or even Whoremachine?! Really, 2 games that are completely compatible, I do wonder why privateer press didn't just make it 1 game and be done with it!

Anyway, I have recently had an intro game at this rather amusing system (Thank you Jack) and have to say I can see why people are playing it. It does seem like a lot of fun, so I shall over the next few weeks be trying to play some games and get a firmer grasp on the rules.

I have also seen that the Bloodbowl season is nearly upon us with my 1st round game up against Raf and his chaos warriors. Rather large number of bash teams this season may mean that very quickly my lightly armoured Norse are lying in a puddle of internal organs, ah well, should be fun at least.

But on to the core of this update.

I have done absolutely no modelling or painting!

I have however ordered myself some rather snazzy movement trays and bases from the internet, got some cork board on the way too and hopefully can pick up my dragon princes from Ol in the not too distant future as well.
All of these very exciting developments hopefully will mean that I can soon do some modelling and post some pretty pictres for you all to admire.

In the meantime, please feel free to imagine how stupid my army is going to be!

And just to sign off, we had a discussion at the club the other night stemming from a supposed dressing up idea for tournaments. I think it's vanquish people are going as Reservoir (d)Ogs and it got people ( well, probably just me to be honest) of other movie titles that could be corrupted and used as future fancy dress ideas.
The Good, the Bad and the Ogly?
BraveOg?
Ogatar?

Can anyone else think of some?!
