So THATS what you single folk are up to these days.
No wonder you've got a gripe against valentines day!

On a slightly off tangent note...what was st valentine famous for? I know St Fracis, and keep on thinking that its valentine that looked after little animals, but I know thats wrong!

(again, even further off tangent, anyone read the Red Dwarf books? Specifically Backwards? Specifically the fact that the world makes more sense in reverse, apart from the fact that santa is a mean old pervy theif who steals childrens toys, St Francis of Assisi..spot the thought thread...is a cruel old begger who tortures helpless animals and hitler is the guy who brings millions of people back to life in the mid 40s....)

OT tangent spotted!

The Red Dwarf Backwards book is a good read, may read it again once I've finished Keef's book

In fairness I've had worse Valentine's Days.

As regards Saint Valentine's according to Wikipedia no one knows what he did - which is even more bloody annoying, we are essentially being made miserable by a nobody, it's like watching a Kerry Katona documentary!

Red Dwarf - watched the episode Backwards but not read the book, I'm that kind of literary guy! And remember it amusing me, my favourite bit where Cat does a cheeky wee in the bushes backwards.

STOP PRESS! STOP PRESS!
I know, I'm not due a weekly update but I have some very sad news to report.

Shakeaway the world's best milkshake store has gone into administration

And a number of stores have been closed down, including my local one in Angel, Islington

http://www.shakeaway.com/england/index.php?page=news&id=47

And now my nearest still opening store is in Croydon

I will be having two minutes silence as a mark of respect at 11am tomorrow which I invite you to join in.

As you can appreciate this is very sad times in The Tale of OG Gamers - High Elves and so it may take a while to get back to my usual cheery level of posts.

Are they actually in administration, no clue to that on their website?

By the way that is one seriously disturbing website, having been a retail mgr for nigh on 15 years, I can safely say that if that company is really that bloody happy, they must be putting some high levels of happy juice in the staff milkshakes.... :cool3:
