At night he prances about like some sort of bearded West Country metalhead pixie, planting pink horrors in peoples' army cases and cackling while chanting his mantra, 'it's double sixes my love, take them off, just take them all off'

Is it an all proxied army, with bare minimum painting standard and utilising all the best units in the book with absolutely no theme?  Oh wait, that's not an experiment, that's the rubbish way of playing daemons.

One of my favourite games has been against a daemons player at my local club.  He takes an all slannesh build which is basically mediocre at best and I last played him with my all combat dwarfs, admittedly a bad match up for him due to toughness and armour, and we both wrecked each others armies.  He still would have won if not for a slight tactical mistake which allowed me to keep one of his units from getting into the flank of my line, had he achieved that he'd probably have rolled my whole line for the big win.  Was a great fun and tactical game against daemons just to prove that they're not always a rubbish game.

Also played (and now for a heelanhammer quote) "Brian from the Hydras" at the last couple of tournaments and had really fun games with him too, admittedly he smashed me for one of them but didn't detract from the fun of it.

Nope not that at all sir, a few borrowed units for this tournie, but the army is quite nice looking so far (was painted by me, Steve and Lee), and quite a different list to most you see...

That's not the experiment though.... :wink;m::

Ol - its not that different to what you normally see.  :wink;m::

The Trampoline

Not long to go, only a week to go. I'm looking forward to this as this is the only tournament for me in June and July (not counting Midland Open as thsi is 31st July)

Grant on a seperate note, if you bring your trophy for Witner War I can take it so the trophy shop can stick the Spiky club logo on it and I can return it to you at Tides.

Can't you just bring in the club logo and I'll stick it on?

Don't really want to be transporting the trophy around tbh.

Besides, I hope to be getting another one on the 11th July  :1st:

The Trampoline

Fair enough, the trophy shop I use is a bit funny about giving out the logos though, I would ahve to take a trophy back for them to apply the logo.

Strange as your on the committee for the spikey club. When your there next can you ask?

Otherwise I'll have to pass fella. I don't want to risk damaging one of my prized possessions.

The Trampoline

The trophy shop isn't part of the committe. I can take a trophy to them to have it attached, but they don't want to hand out the logo discs.
