The Trampoline

As long as you don't play Daemons you'll have a field day with the Tomb Kings against all Dark Elves.

I agree, Rob's TK's will do well vs most of the field using the TK's.

3. Ol "I hate Daemons" Knesebeck (DoC) vs John Southgate (Beasts): The internet states that Daemons are The Sh1ZzLe. It also points out that Beasts are not. The net is never wrong.
Prediction: Ol wins 18-2 and declares his love for Daemons.

Very funny Sim, good one!  :cool3:

After having used them at the doubles I fell in love with them (kind of), no matter what mistakes you make, you just need to roll 5's..

They are IMO still the 2nd most broken list out there, require very little skill to play with (slightly more if you are against DoC) and are inherently almost as boring to play with as VC..

However I cannot stand DE and will never use them, my VC are retired and my Beasts can not compete in any tournie with SCGT comp so DoC it is for me at any tournie with crap comp or if it's a GT, meaning win or lose, I dont have to think, can drink more and not have to carry 200 zombies with me all the time, happy days!

PS: I found DE a very hard match up for my TK, unless they were a Ring, 2 DD build...

I seem to remember the fact that daemons can't run away being invoked as a stick to beat them with.

No not really, I'm just bored witless of playing VC and for big tournies it's basically a lesser of 2 evils (plus I have the models)..
I don't agree with the book (amongst others) but I have a little experiment in mind playing with DoC, lets see what happens..

I'll be very interested to see what my Beasts opponent does against me.

I played against Steve's magic heavy, 4 Herald list a while back and got completely trounced, my list has less magic and is more CC based, so hopefully it's at least a fun (ish) game for both of us..
