Impfest II (Sat 19th June)

I find Skaven a mare with the DE Dragon army hence going to use BG as i need to grind through them.  Empire are fine, but you will lose a lot of you support early on in overwhelm the line with numbers of harpies and riders.

Magic heavy DEs suffer from 1 army mainly, Ring heavy DEs.  I used to be a big fan of magic with DEs but the ring is just so good against them.  My only significant loss was against leggy and that was him being a great player, me plying too defensive and a nice cracks call

It is probably the BG that makes Skaven easier for my list. Get them in the flank of the furnace block and they'll happily grind it out.
As long as the storm banner doesn't last for more than 2 turns (yours and theirs) then you should be onto a winner with the dragon. The hydra is also perfect for dealing with pesky censer bearers.
I only realised the other week just how easy it is to shoot down the furnace as well (if you're particularly good at rolling 6's...)

With Knights i struggled more that with BG due to the ability to grind things out.  I found the chariot my best way of dealin with censors.  My lord failing the I7 I test was a pain but it pushed it into a lot bigger win, but he played for and he got.

Hence the main reason why i have gone back to Black guard.

1st June is the deadline. 

There isn't a TV in the part we'll be in as far as I know. Not sure about the rest of the venue. I'll ask my co-TO about that one for ya.
