Quote from: StommJust a head's up that I've booked the same venue as last time for Saturday the 19th of June. The kiosk in the park outside will be open, so we're not including lunch this time, as you can just pop out for a bacon buttie, chips or whatever.

Full details to follow, but provisionally a run-time of 9am-6pm, £15 per ticket and places limited to 18, as well that's as many tables as we can cram into the place... It will be comp'd, the pack is hopefully going to be ready soon.

We are also once again hoping to run a much larger two day event later on in the summer, so this should hopefully be a run-in event for that really. Well apart from it being and 8th ed. event, and there probably also being a 40K tournie and maybe a Warmaster tournie running at the same time. We might even have some casual games going on as well, as the venue can easily squeeze 60-100 tables in I'd say...

Quote from: StommJust to clarify, June the 19th is a one-day 18 player comp'd 7th ed. Warhammer tournie at Avenue House, Finchley, North London.

I helping to run this event.

I have written the rulespack, but waiting for the okay from Stomm to release it. lol.

18 places will go very quickly for this!

Think we have enough insterest so far to fill at least half the places.

alright Grant, once the rulespack is sorted, if you send it to Ol he should be able to add it to this post.

My usual question, will Chaos Dwarfs be allowed? (Indy GT list please)

If they are, I can provide a link to the army book online and can help with comp for them if needed

cheers,
Lee

Great, I'll send it to Ol when it gets the nod.

As mentioned on TWF, using the same set of rules as Tides so people can have another warm up tourney so no chaos stunties.

Sorry fella.

why not just add them into the comp that's being used?  the book is freely available online, so it's easier to read up on than any other book!

It does entail everyone knowing what races are coming beforehand, the draw being pre-done and opponents all knowing about, having access to and being able to read the online book before the tournie.
All it takes is for one opponent to have not done any of those things and then drawing you and being quite miffed...

That said at an 18 person tournie it should not be such a big problem as it could be at say the SCGT....
ie: Add the link to the book to the rulespack....

and to be fair it will be lee using them so they will be mediocre at best anyway  :wink;m::
