New Orcs and Goblins Models

Seen the new Troll and Boar Boyz plastic sets, both look good. Though I am sadden the old River Troll models (perhaps Stone Trolls too) are finally being replaced, like the fact they've been around for years

Those trolls are actually quite nice....

Shame they look a little bit like the offspring of the little mermaid and Sloth from the goonies.

Boarboyz look good and at £15 for 5 are reasonable enough.

Trollz look awesome, already have some so will be hard justifying buying them

Bit of a curate's egg there. The trolls are fantastic - fabulous detail, lots of character. A unit of them will shortly be appearing in my Monsters of Chaos list. The Boars, however ... seriously, they're rubbish. The orcs are ok, and the boar poses start well, but the faces ... yeesh. Giant bald rats with tusks. They're as bad as the pumbagor, maybe even worse.


And Mike, she wasn't drunk. She a fishy slut.

Have you looked at the individual pictures of the boars, they look a lot better in those shots.  So if you can break up the sameyness of the figures I reckon they'll look ok.

Trolls are going to be looked at to work out how they can be fitted into any of the current armies I'm doing.

I'll probably be getting one of the boarboyz sets for the riders, if one of you orc players would like the boars to upgrade older minis?

Come now Ol the Bumble bee boars are by far and a-way the worst models GW have ever made. These at least look like big hairy pigs.
