The OG Beast Off!

Me and Steve are both taking Beasts to the Tempest Tournie in mid May..

The plan is to also take identical lists and see who does better..

We also are starting the armies from scratch, so we have very little time to build and paint the armies..

So I have started today...

First up 2 units of 10 Gors with FC (as you get free upgrades in Tempest for taking certain troops)



Then obviously we need a chariot or 2....

I do not like the metal Beasts chariot, so I have taken the plastic Orc one and 'Beasted my Ride' so to speak..

The fact that Claire has been apocalyptically ill, and i've had nothing to do over the easter weekend, has meant that i've made some pretty good progress!

I finished a Skaven army in about a month earlier on this year so i'm pretty comfortable with the deadline... at the minute everything that i've painted is a massive guess..... as myself and Ol havn't decided on the list yet!

Thanks dude... not long at all really. Most of it this weekend. Had done a bit on the gor block beforehand but the rest of it has been moving along quickly.

Time tends to fly by when you really like the models! To make sure that i get everything done on time i think i will try to get it all finished to this kind of standard and then go back and finish it off later depending on how much time I have left at the end.

Ol - Definately need to get cracking on the list tomorrow... might be a long "negotiation" before we get a list we're both happy with!
