I've not actually run the dwarfs out under 8th yet, been waiting till post ETC and frantically painting up GW wielding warriors.  All my 4 8th games have been using a dirty slann lizardman list.

Not picked up a WFB figure in ages,  Cryx are soo fun.

Putting a fair bit of work into an army for warrington, couple of tough decisions under 8th now the cookie cutter is dead (for now).

Good luck with the H/WM, there are a few people at my club who play and it looks fun but not something i can invest in right now, simply not enough time.

Give it till Warrington and the basis of cookie cutters will be out.  There always is as GW never know how to even roughly balance a game,  Look at beasts designed for 8th and still they suffer.

It is a change of pace even though i suck after a few games but it is all about learning what every faction can do and weakness's.

There is always combos and ways to win any game, fleeing charges.  Hell i have played 4 games and not come close to winning yet, but am i bothered, no.

Why because it is nice to be new and learn more about the game.  I have no expectations of winning for at least 5 months  and coming last at events but it is a challenge and losing is good as you learn a lot.

Thats a good attitude Rob, Im taking exactly the same view of 8th edition Fantasy.

Maybe Ol can add a Hordes/Warmachine section for all those who are into that game.

Well it took me years to get average at WFB so i don't expect miracles.  I would've played 8th but i am WFB'd out and i have lost interest in the rules and the game.

Losing is a intregal part of the game but i would rather have a good game and lose and a bad game and win.  Oh and i hate it when the dice mess you around but there is nothing you can do when that happens.
