not fans of savage orcs, then how about snotters?

Scratch built with balsa wood/plasticard and some spare bits wheels, shields and big stabba tip before coatting liberally in snotlings.

Dave

Finished off 5 TH&SS terminators, though I had lost the shield arm for one and had to bodge something out a lightning claw and WoC shield.

And on a roll I got these guys finished off (started them last month but sat for a while as I got a bit bored mid way through).

Really nice models though the 'hands up in the air' pose could have done with a bit more diversity

fatolaf

Top Notch work as per usual buddy, really like the theme on the Marines

At first glance I didn't even realise the Pump Wagon wasn't the classic model, which surely is the sign of a good conversion.

All looks great, are those Savage Orcs the new(ish) plastic ones?

Cheers Ol, I wanted something a bit different from the norm and when I did them a couple of years back split schemes were somewhat out of vogue.  Spent ages looking through the pictures of chapters you can find on lexicanum and the likes and it turns out that this is not any recognised chapter colours (Closest are Nova Marines which is the same but in 1/4s, or the eagle warriors which is white/blue but split the other side I think).

Matt - Yup, well the latest 10 are, only without overly highlighted square orcboobs. I'll be mixing them through the old metals I've got for using as a great big unit.  Actually great figures to paint, not too much junk on them unlike some older models and really good definition of everything that is on them.

Yeah I do really like the Savage Orc models (tempting me - hush now voices in head!) But I wouldn't highlight their boobs quite as much as GW. I'm not a boobs man myself!
