Cheers guys, the WE/monsters proved to be just what I needed, really got the painting vibe back over the last few days.

To that end I've churned out a load more stuff.

10 more gutter runners (up to 20 now)

6 Night Gobbos

The Twins (Lelu and Lilitu) for Malifaux

Crompton

What I really like about that Treant is some of the small details like the mushrooms on the leg.

I've always liked the Malifaux models and you make them look really good. That is one pretty scary looking lady!
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

Just.... stop.... painting.... so.... well.... so.... quickly.... !!....  :wink;m::
"Sanguinius. It should have been him. He has the vision and strength to take us to victory, and wisdom to rule once victory is won. For all his aloof coolness, he alone has the Emperor's soul in his blood. Each of us carries part of our father - Sanguinius holds it all." Horus

Got this guy as a little freebie with the last Unseen Lerker magazine so decided to paint him up.

The blocks are something that he uses to spell out segment titles and things so decided to throw them in as a little tribute with his name on them.

Ok so I've been a tad lax of recent, being a hardcore tournament gamer and all, I've not been concentrating on my painting blog.  But the hardcore tournament gamer in me did result in my bashing out a few models for my latest internet filth army, ok it's more stuff for tomb kings and everyone thinks they're utter garbage, but I enjoy playing them.

First off 3 more chariots to bring my total from a mighty 4 to 7, all of which I fielded in 1 big unit.

Second up, is Mr Sphinx.  With smart atire like this gent you'd have to refer to him as mr, all decked out in his finest shiny gold and sporting a massive feck off pair of blades strapped to his arms he's a rather cool but also slightly stupid looking model.  Fortunately he was quite good fun to paint.

Lovely stuff, really like the way you've used the Turquoise in both models. Usually see it on the trim of the Tomb Kings not as large sections but looks really nice.

Starting on the final push to get the Skaven army finished off, at least to a usable army level with the generic TM list.

Furnace for the plague monk unit

Abomination for running at people

Also started on my rat darts but no pics as yet but 1/3 complete.

Looking great Dave, is the piece of rubble part of the Hell Pit Abomination kit or did you add it?

How long did these take you, 7 minutes?

Cheers Matt.

You mean the stonework thing under the right hand/foot at the front?  If so then that comes with the model.  It's a really nice figure to build and paint, not that many options - a few head/arm varients but it all goes together in quite a clean manner and didn't require that much effort unlike the doomwheel which I had to rip apart and rebuild the wheels due to not spotting the point at which the joins attached only worked in one configuration the first time round.

Paint time was a bit longer on these as I did the abom 'properly'  Think I built both kits by Wed then spent Thurs-Sun painting them in the evenings (a sad Fri & Sat night spent home on my own). Dunno about total time wasn't exclusively painting as was watching rugby, playing bloodbowl and similar at the same time.

Both looking very good buddy, dont see many furnaces around any more.... :cool3:
