Also played my first game, think I need a couple of tweaks to the list for future but I'm stuck with it for the ETC as already submitted, that'll teach me for submitting a list without ever having played the army!

Think I'd like a 2nd unit of chariots more than the 2nd knights and also think I'd like a couple of lvl 1 light mages, probably drop the bsb and switch the nehek one over.  Was pretty good fun to play though, barring some idiot moves (and some poor dice, but mostly the supid moves) which cost me a load of points I reckon it would have been a lot closer.

Enjoyed it as a first outing though, army plays a lot like the dwarfs if I'm honest but with the added bonus of a magic phase and the chariots/knights/sphinx to threaten at a greater distance.

Painted up the final archers required for my ETC army to bring me to 40 and then did the characters as was off work ill today.

2400pts from start to finish in just over a month but didn't get most of the army until late july.  Definitely the quickest (and easiest) army I've ever painted.

Plans post ETC will be to do a load more chariots for a comedy chariot spam list and then a big block of mummies (tomb guard) and then probably some swarms, scorpions and a necrosphinx to round it out.

great stuff buddy, will be keen to see how you get on with them at the ETC, it's not an easy army to master, but quiet a god one for the draw bore tactics employed at the ETC...

Having blitzed the TK I took some well earned time off to start on some more malifaux stuff which I can spend some more time on each individual model and actually enjoy the painting a lot more.

This is a Silurid (aquatic lizard alien thingy), will be based on a swamp base when I'm finished.

And from the classic models churned out to get my army working to... MORE MALIFAUX.  Seriously this game is hell of an addictive, I don't even play that often and I love nothing more than churning out a handful of figures for a completed crew.  That said I've not quite finished but following on from my test silurid I posted up before I've completed off another couple of them and the crew master one 'Zoraida the hag', she's a real beauty, fantastic model to paint as not had anything else like it before.  For those that are wondering her nickname by players is "old saggy boobs", gamers are all class!
