NWA OG Team Construction - Vote NOW!

Right, all OG members and especially the (NWA) OG Team entrants, please vote by this Friday (Feb5th) at 3pm..

Option A - Captains Pick

Me and Mike are team captains, we both take sub optimal, low cost armies, ie Me with TK and Mike with Bretts, freeing up the points for the other players, giving them max choice with their armies, we have then taken it in turns to pick players for Team A and Team B, on the points cost and race choices, ie Lee and Bart both want to take WoC, so we would have one WoC player in each team...

These teams would be:

Team A
Ol (Cap) TK or BoC (2pts) - That is if BoC remain at 2 points
Tom DE (5pts)
Steve EMP (3pts)
Lee WoC (3pts)

Total: 13 pts

Team B
Mike (Cap) Bretts (2pts) - Or maybe Ogres
Mark DE (5pts)
John HE (3pts)
Bart WoC (3pts)

Total: 13 pts


Option B - Tactical

Me and Mike in the same team using our strongest builds and the teams built on experience giving one team a really good chance of placing, and the other , the chance to prove us wrong.. :army;m:

These teams will only be revealed if the vote backs this option...

To be honest, I dont mind either option... but if i had to choose one then I would probably go for option b.

I think that the other teams in attendance will be going all out for the win, and will probably have "a" as the strongest team so we should probably do the same.

Beasts are in at 3pts but under review.
Dogs of War are in at 1pt or 2pts if using Regiments of Renown / Ogre Mercs

2250pts (2000pt build restrictions.. i,e 1 lord), no SC's.

@Mike - did you ask them about DoW then, I didnt see it mentioned in the rulespack

I've PMed them about Chaos Dwarfs

They sent a new shiney Rulespack out to those people who asked about teams....

i.e Ol for OG A and me for OG B.

No Chaos Dwarves...

to quote the rulespack:

'Currently we will not be allowing Chaos Dwarf
armies as they have no recent or play-tested army
books and Dogs of War can only be fielded as a
standalone force, if Regiments of Renown/Ogre
Mercenaries are included the army moves up a
band however. NB* Beastmen may be subject to
amendment based on a full evaluation of these
books but we'll let you know as soon as we can.'
