Anyone feeling underwhelmed by the forthcoming Beastmen?

played two games this evening, first against julien i learn't three things 1. i hate terror, 2 i hate dice when they give irristable to enemy comets and miscasts to me, 3. That 4 stegs should be banned under international law!

second against Dan with a very low power vamps list. minatours, pumbagors, and chariots hit like a metric shit tonne of bricks, and hatred is totally wicked! that and this army need a load of crap (i.e 5 man ungor units and 5 dog units) to manage the crazy frenzy bsb (might be better on his own next rather than in a unit of minos, they don't need him and they can be lead on a merry dance)

oh and cygor are totally amazing: piss off mages, lob rocks (i had no idea that stonetrowers don't allow armour saves! bent!) and as he isn't barging forward into a fight he covers the rear of the army (eat a unit of fell bats)

scouting harpies so much win potential first turn move damn near into deployment zone or right in amounts the enemy line get right where they need to right off the bat. The jaberslyth of so-so good. look its stats are rubbish (ws 4 is espeical very mediocre) but the flexiblity of that 20" rank cancelling move is gold, esp with the madness and shooting you don't have to be bombing into combat turn 2 (though i did)

oh and for the record as i got this wrong PUMBAGORS DO NOT HAVE PRIMAL FURY, only the pumbagor chariot does (sorry dan, f-up there by me)

over all beasts of chaos is dead, long live the Beastmen!
