The post under my name somehow ended up filled with Ol's responses... personally I like the SCGT comp, it does just enough to bring Daemons and DoC back down to a playable level

True core is a pain for the DoC, as it means you have to spend 120pts on a unit that you wouldn't normally use in order to allow you to use the stuff you want to use.

It is a pain if you want to use a single fiend and have to spend 120pts on another unit in order to take a 55pt one.

. You crack me up fella. Wouldn't say a single fiend is so good that I would spend 175pts to get one in the list.

Just checked the sheffield results. Not a DE or DoC army in the top 10.

It is because Sheffield actually comped them out, and made it harder to get a broken build.  Just wish they had the anti daemon scenario at every indy event and the anti shooting one for DEs.

It was as refreshing change not to see the same armies there but pretty much the same players.

There was quite a good variety of armies at winterwar under the soco comp. There was only 5 DoC players there. Not sure about DE's, probably a few.
