I played against 3 Dark Elf and 1 Daemon army at the GT, didn't lose a single one of those games, with what was basically an all-infantry list.

Problem I have is I do not like High magic VC, it bores the shit out of me, hence I take CC Vamps with Ethereals that cause DE no end of problems. DoC however then tear me a new one, ie what happened to me at the last GT...

That I do agree with though, come on people bring more variety!

I don't think I'd bother bringing my Goblins with the current turnout, that's for sure.

This is my problem with it, it's bloody expensive for a one dayer (nearly £20) and then to be rewarded with DoC (the SCGT comp does nowt to prevent DoC) and 40K DE (the shooting cap again does nothing to DE) is not my idea of how to spend a Sunday....

Shame mate, i do agree thought the slaughter comp was the best i have seen just needs a few tweaks but it is almost there.

Dan shame you have not found the comp good.  I am trying to make my DE army more combat focused at the moment as the dancing army is a bit boring only suitable for the GWGT.  Shame you missed out on a cracking weekend in sheffield.

Go on ol, take something silly.  It means nothing for rankings and one days are normally events i use to try something different.
