February 1st is Deadline day for Army Lists so get your anti GUO stuff together for it, personally I am taking a Landraider  :-)

I have 2 lists, a slightly different VC army and TK...Will make my mind up over the wknd and enter it on Monday...

Apart from the magic cap, I don't think your normal list breaks any of the comp! :)

Chance would be a fine thing! :)

I'm yet to face a Gateway army at a tourny since the book has come out. I just can't see how a gateway army can do well in a tourney -

First you have to get the spell.
Then you have to actually cast the thing without miscasting.
Then you have to roll high on the Strength (if you want to aut wipe out the unit).

Trying to do the first two on the list in a game would be hard enough, let alone for 3-5 games in a row.

Besides, other elements of the list can cover the loss of the GUO - just makes things much harder work. .

I'm now not the only DoC player coming to the event! There are now 2 of us. .

This is what will actually happen on the day:

Game 1:

Drawn against dwarfs who will shoot me to bits. Get hammered.

Game 2:

Get dark elevs who will shoot me to bits. Get hammered.

Game 3:

Might get a fluffy list that I will scrape a minor from.
