Grant's Herald rides a chariot, which is US5 total. Of course it seems that he and his DE opponent forgot that no, Rending Stars with Manbane are NOT always S7 against Chariots, the plums...

Forgot chariot was only T4.

Chariot with a character is US4 +1 for Character so US5
