I know, i have a rough solution which i am planning, kings for fun events and DEs for events i want to do better in, not necessarily rankings as i haven't had a top 3 in the past 2 years.

How do you add your club?

Somehow, I'm in 604th place. This rankings thing is a farce if I'm above 300 places above Tom and he's more regular at tournaments.

Erik, because Tom has been to 1 day events there is less points than a 2 day event hence you are higher. 

I am trying to do a few events with DE's/Kings and Lizards this year and once the ogres are built them to.  Doubles events is a ogre year.

As Rob said they are designed to suit certain events and as such can be manipulated, they are no a science, more a bit of a fun guideline of form, there are so many factors they can't take into account. I like them for the fun, although I can see the point of the detractors, they are a fun addition not a raison d'etre.

The Irish use it as well but we know what it means rather than the english thinking its another one of their words!!
