Of worthy note is that it takes place smack in the middle of one of the largest shopping centres in the UK so you may well get away with bringing the other half who will be off shopping, this is hovever likely to be an extremly expensive option (but may get you a weekend pass).

Also of note is that there is a well attended bring & buy for those of you wishing to shift old toys & there may well be some bargains there.

Right so we have booked a trade stand at this event (18 foot one at that!  ) which is going to be manned by G, JD and myself.
So far we only have Lee playing in the demo game, does anyone else want to come and help represent the club / shop.
There is no fee to play, just simply travel.
It's not often you get to play in a battle of such scale...

I thought I would post up the four army lists as i write them up & will be playing for team OG

First up Dogs of War probably the softest list of the four.

The link at the bottom is a picture of the Goblin wargiant which will basically be played as a unit of two giants carrying a howadah with two goblin bolt throwers using the same rules as the stegadon giant bow.

Next up 4,000 points of Empire followed by two 4,000 points VC armies (Iexpect Ol to pop over & roll a few dice for one of these if he has a quiet moment.

Should be quite a spectacle.

We are also looking for peeps to help us run our stand over the wknd, even if it is only for a few hours, come along watch some games, peruse the trade stands and help us out for a few hours (we do have a massive stand), you shall be rewarded with cold hard booze!
