Yes but it wont be broken for a few reasons...

1) A master with Pendant is 115pts and nothing else... so they'd have 10pts for normal kit! and couldnt be mounted either.
2) A sorceress couldnt take it... they would be over the points limit of 125.
3) At border patrol level you're not getting alot of high str stuff... so they would have to chose between pendant or armor!  Its pretty useless with those restrictions!.... so i wouldnt worry...

The comp also rules out RS / Manbane assassins and Hotek would be worthless too

I'll see if I can break it with my Darkelves and let you know.

Suggestion:

Max 4 Powerdice (including spells that add powerdice e.g D3+1 powerdice from power of darkness DE spell.) or ban anything that can generate additional PD.

All it would take to ruin someones day is the following....

Dark Elf
Sorceress lvl 1 100pts
Tome of Furion 15pts (additional spell)

3 powerdice in total.

If she gets off power of darkness and rolls high you could have a lvl 1 with two spells and 5+ powerdice who can use as many as they like to cast... 4 dice black horror FTW.

Are High Elves allowed 2 Special Choices since our Core is absolutely Rubbish?

For Empire do Detachments count for #Units and as part of the 200pt limit on a unit and the 25 model max of a unit

In other words would 22 Swordsmen with a unit of 8 Halberdiers be counted as a unit? or 2 seperate units?

Going on the assumption that your opponent:

A) Has only 1 Unit
B) Has no disposable 'cover units'
C) Has no terrain anywhere near them
D) Is a complete Idiot.

Your champion would be fighting the Daemonettes' Champion and might do 2 wounds, the ASF Daemonettes (8 wide, still got a rank) and Herald (with 5 attacks) should easily kill an Irongut, leaving you with a big loss- you wouldn't even need the Flesh Hounds in the flank!

Mind you this is Ogres we're talking about, not exactly the scariest opponent for Daemons out there (except with Ritchie behind the helm, that's different ;) ).
