Is it just me or is the "extra toughness from bikes does not count vs. Instant Death" rule gone (Instant death rule says after modifiers)? If so, Bikes got quite a boost. 5+ jink and 5+ FNP vs. S 9 and less is pretty good on T 5 models who are relentless, and can make armour saves against dangerous terrain wounds now...  :cool3:

Also just noticed, even lasguns can bring down Flying MCs for the rest of the army to unload on once they're grounded

i suspect that hydras will solve that problem anyway......

humm......might see if the ravenwing are less awful now. question is how do jetbikes work these days?

Exactly the same. 5+ Jink if moved, 4+ Jink if Flat Out, Dangerous into/out of terrain, 2D6" Assault move, Relentless etc

Somehow I doubt there will be so many Hydras around anymore. When you're relying on your opponent having Flyers to make your points investment worthwhile (since without Intercept they can't do much to anything else.), they are a little less mandatory...

That said its still funny a unit of guardsmen can inflict a S9 hit on a Tyrant, or make Fateweaver run off the board  :cool3:

Ohh and another one on reviewing stuff I have (Ol may remember I bought a lot of Eldar stuff off him last year then proceeded to put it in boxes and never paint it).  Anyways the much maligned swooping hawk can be given haywire grenades.

The combo of their sky assault thingy and the ability to throw grenades, does this make them one of the best anti tank units in the game?  I think haywire grenades basically glance on a 2+ if they hit and can get an ability to always hit on a minimum of a 4+.  Previous edition a bit poo, this edition  :1st:

I've noticed that carnifexes have become a little less bad, with being Strength 9, they don't realyy need to use the halve attacks to try betting through armour, so throw more attacks at vehicles!
