Ol you almost make 40k sound fun. Reading reports like this does make me feel guilty about my cupboard full of orks and chaos collecting dust.

So with the sun out , I decided today was a good day to start cracking on with the army..

Having decided to take my two new Doom Scythes in the doubles tournament, I took them out to undercoat .
On one of them I noticed a few small bubbles, which I tried to flatten out, this then got worse and my hand smudged paint on other parts of the ship.
I then tried to scrape it off, and re paint, but this just made it worse..
In the end I admitted defeat and binned it ...



As you can see, I proper made a mess of it..
I have snapped off the wings, to use first as testers for the washes, I was thinking of using, and then will make some scenery with..



Am I am cracking on with the remaining Scythe and the Destroyer Lord, whilst trying to work out what to fill my 175 gap in my army with now ...

As time is currently not my friend in this project..

In between reading and tweeting about 6th Ed, which turned up today  :thumbsup:

Yep purple gems on all the bases, and will also be the accent color on guass weapons,Warscythes etc
