Space Kings - A 40k PLOG

As many of you have probably seen, I have started playing 40k with a passion, after a brief dabble with Tau, I started a Grey Knight army and now a Necron one.
The figures that have come out in this range are amazing and after having built a decent sized army, the time has come for them to be painted.
With the Planet OG at the end of June approaching,I will need 750 points worth for that, with another 1000 in time for the Pompey pillage in July, which will be my first big 40k event...

The theme of the army will be quite Tomb King Esque, using bone as the main colour in the army.
The excellent resin bases from Evil Mushroom Games , gives them a nice alien world theme, and I hope they will look different from the normal Necron paint jobs, ie metal and black..

I will update this plog with pictures, lists, battle reports and general musings on 40k as well, as with 6th ed rapidly approaching , there are exciting times on the horizon..

So first up I have to come up with a 750 pt list for the Planet OG doubles at the end of the month and then get it painted...

Agreed, the close combat stuff in particular and the Matrix inspired stuff too.  What accent colours will you use?  How about icy blues instead of the green look?
