Dude I'm not on your back I'm just trying to help you enter the event in the spirit it is intended. I want everyone o have fun playing toy soldiers. And I can't apologise for being vocal about that. I'm actually looking forward to gettin a game with you, as I'm sure you're a fun player at heart :)

It ok buddy, the toneless nature of the interwebz makes it difficult to judge these thing. I get the thing about what the vanquish guys want to achive hence why I had quite a long back and forth with Paul to make sure I got the balance between theme (deathwing) and repetative spam.

The reason I ask is I know that this comp and the vanquish arnt identical, but as I dont get to play 40k much and I have a brand new army I need all the practice I can get. As belial is bending the comp already I was wondering if I could mould it a little further

What FW toys do you have out of interest? I love it if FW was allowed btw a I've got oodles. An working on new stuff for SVA also (which would've come to vanquish if we could go). I did take a full tank company (no scoring units) to spoils of war last year ;)

Steve, the letter of the law is that you must have one (troops) infantry choice for every one with a Dedicated transport. However, as Ol is trying to cut down on mech spam you might get your list rejected if everything has a transport. That's my 2pence anyway

Ive Got a vaquisher turret for my guard (not excatly special) but I'm getting a relic contemptor Mortis dreadnought with twin assult cannons: looks so baddass! (also common for dark angels so fluffy too!) not trying any lucius pattern dropouts or Achilles land raider naughtyness!

For every troop transport you have in your list and a unit it's attached to, you must have a unit who do not have a transport and are on foot....

This is what I want to see on your army list...Nothing to do with deployment...
