Right it's okay for Lee and Jimbo crashing at someones house. But sorry Bristol is a fecking disgrace, the price of hotels is mental!
Plus they are no where near the venue, so taxis are going to be expensive as well.

The help from the organisers (when asked about hotels) was to supply me with a google map link..
hmmm....

It's not uncommon for big events to try and to deals with nearby hotels, not very impressed on that front.
So this would have been the most expensive event I would have been to in the last 3 years, combined with it being a no booze venue as well, and stuck in the middel of no where.
Has led to me and Gareth dropping out, simply too much money, the hotels round there are seriously on a different planet...

Real shame, as I would have loved to play on those great boards, maybe next year if we get enough people together and get some early block booking discount...

Looks like Lee and Jimbo are still going (no surpise as they dont have to pay for anything bar travel), so goodluck boys....
