Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, fluffy bunnies of all ages. Us fine chaps at Bristol Vanguard are proud to announce our 5th Anniversary spectacular of Vanquish.

This year we are boasting 42 boards and counting of good old top quality Vanguard terrain goodness. Yup, that's up to 84 people (EIGHTY FOUR!!!) so get your entry in, bring your friends, bring your family and challenge us to have to build more boards and terrain.

In summary:
- 5 games over 2 days.
- 1750pts lists
- Select Forgeworld units permitted

we have increased to 1750 as an adaptation to the way in which Forge world now have a 40k approved stamp.

Tickets are £25 and full details are in the  rulespack

Edit - In a bid to make Vanquish even better for our 5th year celebration. The wonderful people at KR have bestoyed a truly joyous bounty of their fine cases for you to win throughout the weekend:

"KR - soft foam for figures, hard cases for soft foam!"

I would like to make this the first 40K 2 dayer for me next year, the boards and scenery alone are reason enough to go to this...
Toby and the H.A.T.E posse are going to this, who is up for coming with me?

At night he prances about like some sort of bearded West Country metalhead pixie, planting pink horrors in peoples' army cases and cackling while chanting his mantra, 'it's double sixes my love, take them off, just take them all off'

They are aiming at 84 players as well, so will be a big one....

Tables are gorgeous, but very little Los blocking terrain... Can I borrow a guard army???

Seriously though, if anyone has any army I could borrow I'd be keen.
There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!

I think this one would help vs Guard  :cool3:

The guys told me that the tables have loads of different scenery, some had huge LOS blockers on them

Ask Gareth buddy, he has several

Any idea what you'd like to run Jimbob?

Do have a fair amount at home as Ol said and you're more than welsome to borrow a few bits!

Yeah id hope so Ol. some of the others were basically planet bowling ball... Its all good though.

Excellent Gareth. Basically as long as it doesn't have to deep strike, it's good. We can discuss tomorrow night if you're around.
