I know I said I wasn't fussed whatever, but I do like the idea of doubles. Doubles always ends up as good silly fun in fantasy, so I can't see how a few guns would change that!

I'd be keen on doubles also (preference being 2-day Singles) but not less than 1250 or thereabouts. Don't find 1000pts or less all that fun, but that's just me personally.

Im going to go for a 2 day event I think. For those of us who don't attend the big tornies it will give a taste of the experience without all the travel and expense.

I'm much more of a fan of one dayers. I'd rather not HAVE to commit to 2 days. The draw must be a bit complicated with 12 people over 5 games!,

Doubles sounds great fun, though I'm not keen on the random partner idea. I think 1500 in total would be sufficient.

Doubles is fun. Also not a big fan of 2-day events anymore, generally can't give up both days due to work. Sad times.

Im thinking in the doubles we go for 1k per side, any less seems very small armies (especially GK, 6 models FTW!  )

Oh btw Ol. When you say only troops can capture objectives in OG comp, does that override the Grandmaster's ability to make anyone troops? I was thinking of giving one a whirl, but he's not really worth the points if that's the case.

He can use his power, its not really an issue with GK as far as Im concerned, so small anyway
