Will be officially advertised on the wknd, but 'Blood in Badlands' will be released by GW on Dec 3rd, basically new rules for siege amongst other things....

At night he prances about like some sort of bearded West Country metalhead pixie, planting pink horrors in peoples' army cases and cackling while chanting his mantra, 'it's double sixes my love, take them off, just take them all off'

Anyone on here played Storm of Magic?  I ended up never playing any games of it and it now seems to have faded away again.  I wonder if siege will be similar or more popular?

fatolaf

I reckon siege will be a lot more popular , storms was fun but ultimately very broken.
And we do have a whole giant castle to use for a big siege game.... :)

It doesn't have to be a proper castle - the club has a shed load of towers that can be joined by walls, hedges etc.

Wasn't really ever supposed to be a balanced affair though. Just an excuse to sling huge spells and have a laugh. If you play it with that mindset, I've found it to be very enjoyable.

This looks excellent, particularly as it apparently contains rules for underground combat, with Skaven and Dwarf goodies and a campaign. Want!

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

Awesome. The 5th edition Siege book was the best supplement GW ever produced, IMO.
