I'd assume auto-cast, as gateway can be cast on a double 6, even if the total doesnt reach the casting value!

Can it though, thought the rules stated you still needed to reach the casting cost..?

As for the 25 casting cost, either you need to munch a shit load of warpstone tokens, or it's no where near that high...

25+ that's atleast 5 dice, big risk for something that will be scrolled

If a double 6 is rolled, the spell goes off, even if the dice don't reach the total. Or, in the Skaven case, 13 is the sum of the dice.

I think Gateway is 15+ as well, rather than 16+. And Tzeentch get +1, making it a 14+.

sooo apparently GW are being tighter than a ducks pucker when it comes to Skaven stuff.... 

You'd expect there to be something at games day no?....  According to reports there was a shed load of Wolf stuff... (shock!)... and for skaven....

That is very surprising, is there a confirmed release date for the Skaven yet?

I heard they're only releasing info for the new stuff 3 weeks or so before release.

So the middle of next month will be when we get to see a some decent info on them if the nov 7th(reasonably reliable rumour) release date is right

Here's hoping they manage to keep a lid on it, surprises can be fun (although much of the book would appear to have been spoilered). Who knows maybe they will shock us all and get the new ogre book out first!

I think the beasts are next (re: New WD hints), and judging by GWs current record that would put Ogres at this time next year.

I hope not though.

Rumours abound on Warseer that the lack of Skaven pre-release info / shots / models spells the end of WFB.....

Would have been nice to see something, or we simply have to wait for next months WD, which will outsell every other issue 10-1 I bet..
