I did wonder just how strong that wolfs back must be to carry a marine in armour! Notwithstanding that the musculo-skeletal structure of the wolf is unsuitable for mounting, they have a distinct lack of fused vertibrae.

But I recently learnt a little about them that hopefully hasn't been said before, this is from someone who has seen the book, giving it a quick lookover. So, he could be wrong...

-Weapon teams function as they do now but if they are within a certain range of their parent unit they get a 4+ ward save.
-The 25+ spell causes 4D6 models in a unit to be turned into Clanrats. It can only be cast on models with Unit Strength 1 (hooray for my Bretonnians.)
-The Giant Plague Cauldron thing apparently has awesomely sculpted plastic smoke!
-Queek Headtaker is apparently very cool looking and has a Rat Ogre skeleton on his trophy rack.

Not sure I like the idea of ward saves, just fluff-wise ward saves usually represent something magical or spiritual, not proximity based, more of a look out sir concept would seem to be more fitting.

Also since when do people (+elves, dwarves etc) turn into clanrats, surely the mutation is from rats to clanrats.

I'd assume auto-cast, as gateway can be cast on a double 6, even if the total doesnt reach the casting value!
