It's just annoying that I hate having to pack up my stuff to go play with when its on the table... but til I get some games I wont be 100% sure what I want to play with... I get really anxious in my local gaming place and I get in a tizz about going to game, so I end up cancelling, and get annoyed. I wish I had a gaming table...

I hate playing after work as I'm already brain fried

I think you need to stop worrying so much and take the games in a more relaxed attitude, even if you lose 99% of them, so long as you learn something from it, then it has been a success...

Zombies = Win IMO, they were awesome for me in 7th (when i got a few top 20's at GT's) and now with the better stats, i reckon they will serve you well....

Ok am chilled again now. I go through angry phases but hopefully that was a blip and I haven't got full rage on!

I had another game on Thursday and it was actually going ok... but double slann done a load of shi*t to me and I ended up taking toys away, but I learrnt stuff! Just need to write it down...!

I'm thinking more monsters! Maybe some Vargheists! Big raar things. My graveguard bus was a bit rubbish, the ghoul king was awesome but he got sniped off before he could do anything.

Really am thinking of basing it around good necro support and monsters... do you even need a vampire now??

Modelwise... I have a tournament next weekend... I'm away this weekend til Monday, and I think at work all week, so I have a few evenings to get what I'm taking sorted! I'll try get 2 games in on Tuesday.

I am feeling ok about things now though. Think I was getting a bit warhammered out, all my other hobbies have suffered and I'm getting a bit resentful! Off for a weekend of seeing random bands in random places now though, so should cheer me up!

Aiiiiiiight!

I realised a lot of warhammer rage is resentment. I'm supposed to be an artist, but the last time I drew or painted something was 2011! I realised all this spare time I have, I could have made some really good paintings by now, but I've been doing "stupid warhammer". When my army is all based and 3 colours tourney ready I'm going to have an art binge, but I got my graphics tablet out for a little doodle yesterday morning...

So I thought I'd merge Hammer and art and done a draweeeng of my vampire lord



I'm actually really chuffed with it! I need to work on more quicker ones as I lost for my drive for this one I started last year, it's on about 10 hours at the mo and I know it will look ACE when its done but... sheesh.


I also done a poster for the up and coming tournament at the weekend, do to Spiers making a request with an autocorrect in it. Filth aside, it made me think "actually, I can do cartoons, didn't think I could!" watch this space webcomic fans...

So onto Warhammer....

Yesterday was crypt horror day! Yaaay!!

I started smoothly... champion was the easier to repair, his stumpy bits had fallen off, so I found spares in the pack and glued them on.



So then I peiced together what I actually had and is useable. A bit more than I thought, but not really enough. Theres a lot of leg snappage I can't fix, might borrow a drill and see if that helps... I thought I could just get spares from the sprues til I remembered you don't get extra legs...dang.



I always thought Matt was a bit of a nerd listing the paints used but I realised its handiness as I started painting the next model entirely wrong.

SO my attempt is

undercoat brown spray
drybrush thick blood red x bleached bone
another prawny colour
bleached bone

bones/hair etc PP grey thing I have, drybrushed white.

I'm going to go back waaaaay later and groove these up, but for now, that will do. So I painted the rest.

Prefer the lighting here but they not quite finished

now this morning I need to send in my very late list for this weekend and write a to do list! Off work today, but in Fri and Sat, and it;s on SUnday. SO I have a day and two evenings.

Would it be crazy to include another unit of horrors and smash them out today?
