So yesterday I tested out a VC army list vs bretts.... got smashed but learnt some rules. I've got quite a lot of memory issues which is my excuse for being shit... Ive read the VC book loads but I need to play or it means nothing,

talking of which... we went for a few post game beers.... Matt Yeo offered me a lift back. To cut it short I was getting stuff from the boot [scene missing] driving in the car. I get complete blank spots of life which are a bit alarming as it is.... but then I realise there isnt a box on my lap.

It was on the roof. We backtrack, it has fallen off and into the road. I can't face it. Matt goes out to retrieve some stuff... there were my 9 crypt horrors and a terrorgheist.... Shelley was there.... he went to get her and a bus drove right over her...

I couldnt sleep last night I was so angry and frustrated. One that I'd even put it on the roof, two that I had no recollection of even doing it, and three that all that time and money had gone. 3 boxes of horrors, terrorgheist, and garden of morr. I was fully rage quitty I almost messaged all y tournaments to cancel.

However my rages tend not to last and today I chilled out and put into perspective that toy soliders dying isnt the end of the world, I'm still in one peice, and on the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter.

Still f*cking gutted though.

I might spend the weekend painting zombies... I really cant face it. Some of them are ok but this was going to be a really nice unit... but theyre snapped in loads of places....

Anyway before all that Carnage and before the 20-0, my good friend Mike got me this for me birthday, so I might paint her first.

Well I'm not feeling too bad, but i need to get away from basing etc so want to do a couple characters today....

Last night i magnetised a load more movement trays.. I can't believe im nearly out got to order a load more...



And i naturally wake up at 6am but to make it a bit more of a Sunday feeling i assembled in bed with a cup of tea. Can't wait to paint her later she's ace, that really made my week, she is HUGE though! I might paint her and my wight queen today then a zombie dessert

So were you able to rescue most of the crypt horror things?

I have 6 horrors, they're ok... but the whole point was that theyd be the show stopping unit in my army that looked f*cking lush... these are chipped and battle damaged... would piss me off just to paint them. I'm forgetting about them for now as I'll get get angry and miserable. I think I'll buy two more boxes and another garden of Morr, I'm just rapidly running out of money and tournaments are getting nearer and nearer... I've only played one game with new book I need to cram me some more in ASAP.

Really missing my terrorgheist Shelley. A doner who wishes to remain anonymous is getting a terrorgheist to me soon though which is really nice  I found this prophetic drawing I did... spooky no?!?!



SO yesterday....

I had a huge tidy after I glued that lady. It was immense and lasted til about 4. I still had loads of boxes fro moving so I found homes for all that crap [under my bed] and proceeded to gut and polish the house. Notable the back room I do all my hobby in is nice and clean for a nice clean mind like my own, and the table is clear, checkkit



I then parked my ass on the sofa and watched a load of Blackadder and Lip Service and painted these fine dudes



I just want them flat coloured for now as theres hundreds of them. Motherf*ckers! I think I'll do their bases today to make them look a lot nicer, then I can just highlight as and when.

I'm very happy to be doing some painting after all this hobby.

Basing, zombies, and maybe that character later if the sand is dry :)
