Oh i was being fluffy with lore of the wild, just want to avoid the normal crutches that people use.  for example at end of 7th i managed a few wins with the beast book which was great fun.

I have seen 2 lists who are doing well at tournies and still a good fun. You go full minos or 2 big blocks of bestigors. they can a lot of damage and still smashing people with strengh 6. The lore of beats is good fun as well. Good to boost your characters.

Ah, then I suggest a Doombull, with 1+ rerollable save, Ramhorn Helm, and a Brass Cleaver... then spam Mantle of Ghorok on him for fun times. BAM!

Anyway, I can't believe that you guys let Ol come second... For shame!

Nono, ASF sword on the Doombull.

I'm going to blame Ol's coming second on the fact after our draw in the second game, he got to face the "easy" Daemon list (It had Bloodcrushers! Lots of them!) while I got to face Grant's "fluffy" Daemons. Who had Banner of Sundering. And me and Ol both had multiple Light wizards...

Had a great time, and 3 very enjoyable games - even the last one against Rob "the Hobbykiller" Ritchie and the dwarf list of doom :-)

Congrats to the winners, looking forward to seeing the full results for both days (nudge nudge...!)

Cheers Lee for putting me up (read: putting up with me  ) and the ridiculous amount of alcohol consumed and general silliness of which most has dissolved from my memory but I'm sure it's all good things!

I have learnt that pints of alcohol cannot be carried safely in a backpack, and apologise for smelling even worse than a stereotypical wargamer on Sunday. I have only just got back home having spent the last two days in alcohol/sweaty clothes. I even managed to soak my block of deodorant with Jager, so was therefore literally sweating booze whilst being 20-0'd. The shame.

If I book in advance I can get there quite cheaply so I might tournie or not make attempts now and again to get down for some games, I like you OG people a lot, I might add OG (Welsh Division) to my repertoire
