The Wandsworth Waargh 8 - Mini Carnage - 25/26th June

So June brings a new Waargh, spread over the wknd of the 25/26th of June, each day is a seperate 1 dayer with room for 14 players per day..

We will be using the Cardiff Carnage Comp and basically using this as practise for the main event in August.

The main point of the Carnage is 'no lords' and '2200' points which should really get the creative juices going (list wise)....

The Comp is below:

ARMY SELECTION AND GENERAL RESTRICTIONS
1. Army size is 2200pts (and not a single point more!)
2. The tournament will be played using only the official rules from the Warhammer 8th Edition rulebook, any army book
released prior to the date of the tournament (a two week grace period applies), and any FAQs, clarifications and articles from
White Dwarf.
3. Appendix armies from the back of the army books, Storm of Chaos, the Lustria book or White Dwarf may not be used.
4. Armies from Storm of Chaos, the Lustria book or White Dwarf may not be used.
5. No Special or Named Characters may be used
7. Allied contingents including Allies from the Dogs of War and Regiments of Renown are not allowed.
8. The following limits apply to all army lists:
• All units must be a maximum of 40 models and a maximum points value (including any upgrades such as weapons,
command and banners) of 450pts.
• Characters affected by the following spells that would instantly remove it from the table, benefit from the look out
sir rule. The Dwellers Below, The Dreaded 13th Spell, Infernal Gateway and Final Transmutation.
• The power scroll is banned
• Maximum 12 power dice to be generated in each magic phase. Total!
• Maximum of 4 Warmachines
• No Lord characters.
10. Daemon of Chaos armies may have no more than 30 models per unit
11. Daemonic Gifts are restricted to 0-1 each.
12. The following choices are all 0-1: Hydras, Hell Cannon, Hell Pit Abomination, Ancient Stegadon (inc. Engine of the Gods),
Warp Lighting Cannons, Black Coach, Doomwheel, Casket of Souls, Heirotitan, War Sphinx, and Necrolith Colossus
13. Flamers and wraiths are restricted to 0-6 models per army.
14. Gutter Runners and Shades are restricted to 0-7 per unit.
15. Dark Elves can use a maximum of 7 dice to cast a spell, this overrules the army book.
16. Where at all possible all models in the army should be WYSIWYG. This means that if you have paid for an upgrade on a
model, then the model must display that upgrade, and vice versa. At the umpires discretion non- WYSIWYG models may be
removed from the table.
17. Ensure you are using the correct miniatures to represent your units as far as you can. These do not need to be official GW
models, but if the miniature does not look appropriate, then it may not be used. Basically if it doesn't look like what it is
meant to be, then don't bring it!

We will be playing 3 games of Battle line on each day, with 2:30 hours per game.

Prizes for the top 3 players and an overall prize for the player who scores the most VP's over the whole wknd.

As we are using this as a practise for the main Carnage, you can have 50% of your army unpainted to allow you to build your army for the main event.
