I'd rather the power armies got a rewrite sooner than my woodies.  If VC, Daemons and DElfs (and the slann, don't mind the rest of the lizards book) were all rewritten down to the level of the O&G/TKs then the whole game would be pretty fair all round. 

If bestial surge were a bubble effect and you rolled a single dice for all units within 12" surges forwards it would be worth taking, that way it wouldn't disrupt your battle line and give you a way of zerging multiple units across the table together.

On the plus side Beastmen do get access to some good lores from the rulebook, so probably not desperately in need of a rewrite (for that reason, there are other issues though!)!

As I say, am certainly not a power Warhammer player, and I don't like to constantly slag off GW and the rules (I slag lots of things off, but not always GW), but I just didn't find this deck fun. If it was fun and crap, that'd be cool. But really Beastial Surge isn't worth the effort of casting by the time you've got your tape measure out, measured an inch for every unit and then sat down again you think "shouldn't have bothered". Steve if you can find a fun way to use the lore, please let me know though - would love Beasts to be more fun (I can live with fun and s**t!).

Yup, after 4 months of Cardiff practice and OG Comp Empire the allure of the Beast is growing Stronger and Stronger!!   

Aiming to kick all this off once Cardiff is done and dusted and may even aim to take the Beasts to Warrington depending on how the practic games go!
