So this marks the beginning of a new plog that will surpass all others  :cool3:

Me and Stevo are both going to do a Beastmen army, that on this plog we will buy, build, paint and fight with.
We aim to do approx 300 points a month and have a 2400pt army ready for the Sheffield Slaughter in Jan 2012.

Mine will be a Desert Raiders Beast army, full of albino creatures, this army will be worshippers of the sex crazed god of fun fun fun, Mr (or is it Mrs?) Slaanesh.

Stevo's will be the followers of Mr Blood everywhere, Khorne, theme TBC....

We aim to have very different looking lists, which we will publish up here before we start painting, even though this will be subject to change as the months go by and the army gets its head  repeatedly smacked in.....

We aim to fight each other once a month as the armies develop, hence the 'Beast Off' moniker..

So as they say in cartoon world, stay tuned and check us out after the SCGT for our first updates....

I'm excited to see some more Beastmen coming to the forum, themes sounds interesting, I look forward to seeing how they develop. Of course if you want to "Beast Off" against a complete but less well themed Beastmen army shout, I have 4,000 points of Beastmen ready and waiting to be removed from the table.

And whilst am I excited about this blog, the comment below, really? Really?  /\0

This site could do with a decent painting blog, I've tried my hardest but afraid there is a distinct lack of them actually running for any length of time...  :spamlaser:

You will both soon learn the pain and soul crushing disappointment that one can only experience when playing beasts,

I have been playing with them since the new book and I think they are better by far in 8th than they were for the few months of 7th they had..
However, these armies asre purely for fun club games, and we will be playing each other a lot, so at least we know the match up is a good one...

Might have already slightly copied them buddy... :cool3:

Hey guys, just to let you know that now SCGT is out of the way the OG Beast-Off is fully underway!

As Ol said, i'll be putting together a Khorne worshipping beastman warband ad they go their merry way through the northern Empire, which much merriment and pillaging along the way!!! For my first 300 points thus month I'll hopefully be working on the first of my Gor and some classic minotaurs (courtesy of Steve Cooke... Cheers buddy!).

I picked up the lovely Banebeasts Galagaak to use as a Gorghon at SCGT, but I'm going to try to hold onto him for a while as he isn't legal til we get 4 months in!!!

I'm hopefully going to post my first crack at a list tonight... Please remember that these are fluffy lists - no herdstone or stubborn crown filth for us!!!

Cheers, keep track of the blog for WIPs soon!

Stevo
In the style of Tom Hale... F*ck Ushabti!!!
