I will be playing Singe Frost, an excellent fellow who I lost to at the Maul with my Forest Goblins, So I need to work out a way of holding of the Beastman horde & inevitable herdstone shadow/death magic spam assault.

I think stand a long way off & shoot a lot may be the plan!

"Nigel Chorlton"... a quick stalky-stalk on RHQ shows he was at the last Tempest, using Orcs and Goblins himself! Guess I better come up with a way to kill 40 Savage Orc Big Uns ;)

stand in front of him but angling towards dangerous (rocky) terrain, make him take dangerous terrain tests if he charges you and kills your unit (as must overrun), but block him from moving normally if he doesn't charge you.  Of course that relies on killing off all his chaff he might use to clear out your crap.

Isn't the herdstone banned at Tempest this time round?

Oh god supervisor's put our meeting back to 10.45a.m., 35 minutes before I'm due to be on the train with Tom!! I bet the super-expensive tickets I bought don't allow for times to be changed, that would be too easy...

Naw it's not the kind of meeting you can do over the phone, and, well, skipping it I think would be the end of my doctorate!!

You need to change your tickets then buddy, before the day and just pay the cancellation charge (cheaper than buying all new tickets on the day)

Yeah, that's what I'm going to do I think. In fact, I'm probably going to get a coach instead!! Leaving 12.30, arriving Stockport 5.30, £25. Glad I bought a 3DS, that should keep my busy
